Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is elephant's ear. Several plants are named "elephant's ear", and this one hails from Asia. Like a lot of Asian plants that turn up in the United States, it's here, in the middle of a swamp, because someone thought it would look good in their garden.

(a) It doesn't. (b) You can't control it. (c) It's taking over. (d) No one else can control it, either.

At least it's edible. Maybe the apple snails will help. (Apple snails are another invasive species poppnig up in the swamp. Guess how they came...)
