Description
English: Purchasing power is determined according to consumers' place of residence and is therefore an indicator of the consumption potential of the population living in a particular area.
Deutsch: Die Kaufkraft kann vereinfacht als die Summe aller Nettoeinkünfte einer bestimmten Raumeinheit gesehen werden. Sie ist damit ein Indikator für das Konsumpotenzial der dort lebenden Bevölkerung. Allerdings muss dabei beachtet werden, dass die Kaufkraft oftmals nicht da eingesetzt wird, wo die Menschen wohnen, sondern dort wo sie einkaufen.
