Summary[edit]
DescriptionKarstaquifer Schwankungen.jpg |
Deutsch: Karstwasserspiegel in Karst-Aquifern schwanken. English: The water table (solid red line) of the phreatic zone of a karst aquifer may rise considerably in (immediate or somewhat delayed) response to extensive precipitation or snow melt. Usually dry places in the outcrop area of the vadose zone may become active springs during such periods of elevated ground water table (dashed red line). |
