Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Karet gelang atau gelang karet adalah potongan karet berbentuk gelang yang dibuat untuk mengikat barang. Karet gelang terdiri dari berbagai macam ukuran, dari yang besar hingga yang kecil, dari yang tebal hingga yang tipis. Bahan baku karet gelang adalah karet alami sehingga berwarna kuning. Karet gelang berwarna-warni dihasilkan dengan menambahkan bahan pewarna. Produsen juga ada yang membuat karet gelang tahan minyak dan tahan segala cuaca. Sebagian besar karet gelang dibuat dari karet alami yang merupakan hasil pengolahan lateks dari pohon karet. Karet gelang juga dibuat dari karet sintetis, tetapi kalah populer dari karet alami yang elastis.
