| Description | Typical examples of iron sulfide concretions, called “Kansas Pop Rocks”, which are found in the Smoky Hill Chalk Member of the Niobrara Formation of Kansas. Both regular, lefthand row, and polycuboidal, righthand row, varieties shown in picture. These concretions are about 3 centimeters in diameter. |
