Latviešu: Kaņepju ozols ir otrais resnākais dižozols Latvijā un Baltijā, kura apkārtmērs ir 9,4 m. Vainaga projekcija -300m2, augstums 17 m. Pirms vairākiem gadiem ozolu gandrīz iznīcināja zibens, taču tas sācis atjaunoties stumbra dienvidu pusē. Ozolam ir milzīgs dobums, kurā var novietoties 8 cilvēki. Pēc dendrologa S.Saliņa aprēķiniem, dižā koka izcelšanās datējama laikā, kad bīskaps Alberts ienācis lībiešu zemē. Kaņepju ozols ir Jērcēnu pagasta simbols. Atrodas: 1,4 km no Jērcēnu centra pie Kaņepju mājām, Jērcēnu pagasts, Strenču novads |
