Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is a photo of my cat called Cirmos (Tabby). She shows the characteristics of the Kanaani breed cat, a rare cat breed from Israel. Most typical is the tuft on the ears, a very rare thing for cats to have, but the colour, the circular stripes, the outlook and the strength are also acknowledged characteristics of the Kanaani. Not mentioned, but all photos of Kanaani-related cats show the M on the forehead. Although Cirmos is probably not a purebread Kanaani since she was adopted young as a stray cat, she has great ear tufts characteristic of this breed. I upload this photo because I have found no photos of tufted ears on the net and this one is very visibly tufted. So enjoy the tufts of Cirmos, but beware since she is a very shy cat, who prefers to hide from humans.
