Deutsch: Postkarte des Kaiserlichen Marinelazaretts in Lehe, Surfeldstraße 29, Bremerhaven. Das Lazarett diente der medizinischen Versorgung der Soldaten der Standorte in Lehe und Geestemünde. Im Dritten Reich wurde es als Wohngebäude für Soldaten der Kriegsmarine umgebaut. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg nutzten die Amerikaner es als Wohngebäude für farbige Soldaten. Danach bezog das Technische Hilfswerk das Gebäude. Als das Gelände zu klein geworden war, wurde es verkauft an die Arbeiterwohlfahrt, die es noch heute nutzt. (Helmut Krummel) |
