Description
English: A complete Post Medieval copper alloy struck jetton. The obverse depicts alternating crowns and fleur de lis (three of each) arranged around a rose. The legend reads ...RNBERG:RECH:WOLF:LAUFER. Pellets are used as punctuation, and there is a flower between RECH and WOLF. The reverse depicts an orb topped with a cross (Reichsapfel) within a complex double tressure. The legend reads GOTTES:SEGEN:... Pellets are used as puncuation, and a flower is in front of GOTTES. It is in fair condition, although parts of the legends are missing and there is an old break near the edge; this break is also slightly bent. It is 21.57 mm DIA x 1.05 mm TH; it weighs 0.9 g. A similar jetton can be seen on the database BERK-6C5980.
