Description
中文（繁體）：1941年10月28日《工商日報》報導香港軍事當局準備招募香港華人軍團的士兵組成機關槍營，將會與其他正規軍部隊一同保衛香港，即將開始的第一期招兵50人，受訓完畢及達到成效將招募第二期150人，第一期受訓完成及取得下士軍階的士兵，將會協助訓練第二期的新兵，之後每期招募150人，逐漸編成若干連隊，至組成一個營級部隊的規模。每名新兵完成受訓後將有6高越試用期，如自認爲不適合軍職者可在試用期完結時辭職，如自願繼續從軍及得到軍官同意，可每5年續約，最長可服務21年，服役期內基本居住、飲食及衣物等都由政府供給，而薪金除了按年資增加，如在軍中通過評核晉升，薪資亦會提高。
