Summary[edit]

Description
English: Scatter plot showing the mean orbital eccentricities and inclinations of the outer irregular moons of Jupiter. The horizontal axis (e) indicates eccentricity while the vertical axis (i) indicates inclination to the ecliptic plane in degrees.

Data and color schemes are from Scott S. Sheppard's Jupiter Moons page: https://sites.google.com/carnegiescience.edu/sheppard/moons/jupitermoons

Blue = Himalia group, Red = Carme group, Orange = Ananke group, and Magenta = Pasiphae group.

Ungrouped prograde satellites are colored individually: Yellow = Themisto, Cyan = Carpo, and Green = Valetudo.
