Summary[edit]

Description
English: At the annual membership meeting of Historic Seattle at Deutsches Haus (German Club), 613 Ninth Avenue, First Hill, Seattle, Washington, USA. Historic Seattle staffer Luci J. Baker Johnson gave a talk, "The Gold Dust Thief," about George Edward Adams. Adams embezzled over $200,000 from that Assay Office during the Klondike Gold Rush and in the years immediately after, before being arrested in 1905 and convicted. Three of his descendants were present for the talk. This is Adams's granddaughter, Judy Adams Edwards.
