Source/Photographer | Portrait aus: 'Bibliotheca Chalcographica, hoc est Virtute et eruditione clarorum Virorum Imagines' von Jean Jacques Boissard. Das Werk mit 100 Portraits wurde unter dem Titel 'Icones virorum illustrium' erstmals 1597-98 herausgegeben. Spätere Auflagen wurden ergänzt bis das Werk auf 9 Teile mit insgesamt 440 Bildnissen angewachsen war. |
