Description
English: "Poppy" motif column capitals; architectural details of the John McCrae Memorial (erected in 1946), located at the Lt Col. John McCrae House; Birthplace & Memorial Gardens (museum) in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

Taken on 2009 11 11, Remembrance Day in Canada.

Lt. Col. John Alexander McCrae (1872-1918) was a doctor (physician), soldier, artist, and the author of the WWI poem "In Flanders Fields".
