Deutsch: Original-Bildbeschreibung (Januar 1912):
Johannes Kaempf, bekannter Reichstagsabgeordneter, feiert am 18. Febr. in Berlin seinen 70. Geburtstag. Der erste Berliner Wahlkreis, zu dem das Schloß und das Ministerviertel zählen, hat ihn in der Stichwahl nach hartem Kampf mit 9 Stimmen Mehrheit gegen den Sozialdemokraten Düwell wieder in den Reichstag entsandt, dem er seit 1903 angehört. Kaempf ist Berliner Stadtältester, Präsident des Deutschen Handelstags, Ältester der Berliner Kaufmannschaft und Mitglied der Direktion des Hansabundes. Unser Bild zeigt den Parlamentarier nach einem Gemälde des bekannten Malers Professor Hugo Vogel.
