Description

The panel depicts Johann I. of Saxony, known as the Steadfast, as a half-length figure, facing left against a blue background. He is wearing a black cloak with a broad fur collar over a lace-trimmed shirt and a black beret on his head. Johann has folded his hands over his stomach and a ring is visible on the index finger of his left hand.
