Object history Zu den Vorbesitzern heißt es bei K. P. Belavskaja: Portretnaja miniatjura: XVIII - pervoj treti XIX veka. Katalog kollekcij, Gosudarstvennyj Muzej-Zapovednik Pavlovsk, Tom 12, Vypusk 2, Sankt-Petersburg 2015, S. 46 (hier übersetzt): "Die hier veröffentlichte Miniatur gehörte der Kaiserin Alexandra Fjodorowna und wurde im Inventar von 1854 im Großen Kabinett der Kaiserin im Winterpalast registriert (Inventar von Alexandra Fjodorowna, Bl. 7). Die Miniatur hing zusammen mit anderen Miniaturbildnissen an der Wand der kaiserlichen Familienbildnisse. Im Jahre 1861 kam sie im Rahmen der Vermögensteilung zwischen der Kaiserin Alexandra Fjodorowna und ihrer Tochter, der Königin von Württemberg und Großfürstin Olga Nikolaewna, zu letzterer. Nach deren Tod ging sie in das Eigentum der von ihr adoptierten Tochter Großfürstin Wera Konstantinowna über. Sie verkaufte die Miniatur 1908 an Nikolaus II. Seitdem befand sie sich in der Bibliothek der Zarenresidenz Zarskoje Selo [Puschkin]."
