Description
English: Slab with macerated fossil plants from the Pennsylvanian period. Identifiable is a fairly preserved frond of a seed fern (Alethopteris, left of above the scale) and a larger fragment of a horsetail stem (Calamites, top margin of the image). Joggins Fossil Cliffs World Heritage Site, Nova Scotia.
