Nederlands: Collectie Voorhelm Schneevoogt Inventarisnummer NL-HlmNHA_1477_53010122 Beschrijving Jezus voor Pilatus. [Matteüs 27] Jezus staat voor Pilatus terecht. Het volk eist de kruisiging van Christus en Pilatus die de druk van de menigte toegeeft wast vervolgens zijn handen in onschuld. Pilatus zit op een verhoging en Christus staat recht voor hem. Hij wordt vastgehouden met touwen door twee soldaten die aan weerszijden van een trap staan. Met een vers in het Latijn. Eerste prent uit een ongenummerde, tweedelige prentenserie met passiescènes. Gravure door Nicolaes Braeu naar het schilderij van Jacopo Tintoretto, met Latijns onderschrift van Simon Sovius (SSH), uitgegeven door Jacob Matham; gesigneerd.
