Title
Jetton: postmedieval, Nuremburg, Hans Muller. 'Rechen meister' type.
Description
English: Postmedieval copper alloy jetton, Nuremburg 'Rechen meister' type, probably produced by Hans Muller between 1570 and 1582.

Obv: Rechen meister seated, at table , carrying out accounts.

Rev: Alphabet in 6 lines, unframed / ABCD /FFGHIK/.LMNOPQ./.RSTVYX./.Z.HAN/.M

The final 'Han M' probably relates to the Master Hans Muller (1570-1582). This date is consistent with the irrular die axis, and the 'unframed alphabet' reverse.
