Description
Juliane Sophie Wedell (1762-1782) married the landowner Iver Rosenkrantz-Levetzau (1749-1787) in 1779, at the age of 16. In 1782 - when she was 19 - she died in wedlock. Juel did this posthumous painting of her the following year.
