Description
Henrik Even Moe (1756-1798) was an administrator in the Royal Danish Navy. In 1784 he married Henriette Frederikke Dörschel (1768-1829). Juel painted them both, and the two portraits were auctioned in the same lot. Henriette was the sister of Juel's wife Rosine Dörschel (or Dørschel), (1771-1831).
