Description
This is one of four portraits Juel made of members of the Brøndsted family. It was suggested to be a portrait of Mads Sørensen Brøndsted, but he died in 1739, before Jens Juel was born. No one has suggested his youngest son Niels Madsen Brøndsted, but his age would fit the dates. Source: http://brondsted.dk/brondsted/ (in Danish).
