James John Thomas (10/1/1867-8/5/1947) was born in Wrexham, North Wales. He came to Columbus in 1868. Mr. Thomas worked for the United States Express Company from 1884 until 1914. He also served as a Columbus City Councilman from 1898 until 1901. He was Mayor of Columbus from 1920 until 1931. He married Maude Huston. He died in Bellaire, Michigan and is buried in Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio. |
