Summary[edit]

Description
English: The predominant practice during Ramadan is fasting from dawn to sunset.

This sight of the sunset indicates that people who were fasting can break their fast with some dates and a sip of water.(#iftaar),as Muslims traditionally break their fast like the Prophet Muhammad did some 1,400 years ago.
