Summary[edit]

A bandeira de Jaboticabal tem formato retangular, de estilo terciado em banda, sendo uma em azul, outra em vermelho e a parte central branca, onde o Brasão da cidade é aplicado. Este simbolismo lembra a divisão político-administrativa de Jaboticabal, que atualmente é composta pela sede da cidade e os distritos de Córrego Rico e Lusitânia.

O Brasão ao centro da bandeira simboliza o Governo Municipal, Executivo e Legislativo. A parte onde o Brasão é aplicado representa a sede da cidade [zona urbana], tal como na posição político-administrativa.

A parte azul simboliza o Poder Judiciário, sede da Comarca. A branca significa a religiosidade e o espírito cristão do povo jaboticabalense. A parte vermelha simboliza o amor pátrio, coragem e valentia da nossa gente.
