Dansk: Vinterlandskab. I Forgrunden en forstyrret Kæmpegrav. Motivet taget af Vordingborgs Omegn. Udfört ifölge Bestilling til Christiansborgslot
  • Dansk: Ifølge et notat af kunstneren selv er motivet fra egnen mellem Præstø og Stensbymølle nær Vordingborg på Sjælland (jf. Bang, 1987, bd. 2, p. 203). Maleriet er udført i Dresden på grundlag af studier, Dahl havde foretaget på stedet i 1816 sammen med oldtidsforskeren Christian Jürgensen Thomsen.
  • Dansk: Forestiller angiveligt den kendte langhøj Ørnehøj ved Bakkebølle uden for Vordingborg.

Metadata
