Deutsch: Die steil aufragenden, dicht gereihten Ziegelsteinhäuser mit schmalen Fenstern und spitzen Satteldächern an engen Gassen mit Bäckerei und Barbierstube (gestreifter Pfahl, goldene Aderlass-Schalen) weisen Vrel als Pionier des erst um 1650 aufkommenden Genres von Stadtansichten aus.
Français : Les maisons en briques, aux fenêtres étroites et aux toits en pente pointus, situées dans des ruelles étroites avec une boulangerie et un salon de barbier (poteau rayé, coupes de saignée dorées) font de Vrel un pionnier du genre de vues urbaines qui n'est apparu que vers 1650.
