| Description |
Deutsch: Sechsfenstriger AEG-Motorwagen, Erstausrüstung der Leipziger Elektrischen Straßenbahn. Die Bauart war von Anfang an zweimotorig mit verlustarmer Serienparallelschaltung der Fahrmotoren. Zusammen mit dem Wagen 308 des Konkurrenzbetriebes Große Leipziger Straßenbahn wurde der Wagen des städtischen Typs 14 schon 1924 im Straßenbahnhof Plagwitz museal hinterstellt. Beide Wagen sind im Originalzustand erhalten, sie waren nie Arbeitswagen oder Gartenlaube. Der Wagen 64 mit der städtischen Nummer 854 wurde ausgewählt, weil man annahm, dass es der Eröffnungswagen 54 von 1896 sei. Beide Triebwagen sollten 1949 verschrottet werden, doch verhinderten das LVB-Mitarbeiter. Wegen der exotischen elektrischen Ausrüstung, die seinerzeit eine betriebsfähige Aufarbeitung als nicht sinnvoll erscheinen ließ, wurde der Wagen 64 1966 als Dauerleihgabe an das Verkehrsmuseum Dresden abgegeben. Zurück nach Leipzig kam er nach der Auflösung der dortigen Nahverkehrssammlung. Der Wagen behielt als einziger einen Stangenstromabnehmer. Dahinter stehen der GLSt-Triebwagen 308 aus demselben Baujahr und der LPfE-Pferdebahnwagennachbau 95, Typ 3. |
