Description
Deutsch: Die Bahnhofstraße kreuzt den Bahnhof schiefwinklig, der Wegübergang wird durch eine vierschlägige mechanische Vollschrankenanlage mit Straßensignalen gesichert. Das Stellwerk ist ein typischer Bau der 1930er und 1940er Jahre. Das rechts stehende Straßensignal ist ein gutes Beispiel für den Sinn des roten Blinklichtes an Wegübergängen. Ein Triebfahrzeugführer kann es so sofort von einem haltzeigenden Hauptsignal unterscheeiden.
Seit 2011 ist die Strecke Gotha–Gräfenroda außer Betrieb, in den sechs Jahren seitdem ist das Bahnhofsgelände schon stark zugewachsen.
