Deutsch: Die Türme waren optische Telegrafen aus der Zeit des zweiten Karlistenkrieges zwischen 1846 und 1849 und Teil einer Telegrafenlinie zwischen Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Gerona und La Jonquera an der Grenze zu Frankreich. Der vordere diente der militärischen, der hintere der zivilen Nachrichtenübermittlung. In Betrieb waren die optischen Telegrafen nicht lange, schon 1857 wurde der optische Telegrafendienst in ganz Spanien eingestellt. |
