J1N1-C KAI Gekko Model 11 of the Kokosuka Kokutai. (According to page 419 of Francillon, Rene (1970) Japanese Aircraft of the Pacific War, Naval Institute Press, pp. 570pp ). J1N1-C KAI is a field conversion of J1N1C recon to fighter. This has upward and downward cannons, but rear observation area that was deleted in J1N1-S is still present.
