Summary[edit]

Description

The base has a nice collection of old aircraft as gate guards, or "Pots de fleurs" as I think the French call them. One of the first jet fighters, this is a British built Vampire. The French did build their own which they called the Mistral. This is a De Havilland DH-100 Vampire FB6 N°633 ex Swiss Air Force J-1124 with French Air Force sheme of a Vampire Mk5 n°10035 code 5-NT.
