Description
English: U.S. nuclear weapon test Ivy Mike, 31 Oct 1952, the first test of a hydrogen bomb. This is a photo of the fireball a few microseconds after detonation, captured by high-speed camera. The fireball measured 3 1/2 miles in diameter.
