English: Portrait of Boyar Ivan Borisovich Repnin
Русский: Неизвестный художник конца XVII века. Парсуна князя Аникиты Ивановича Репнина, приближенного Петра I, участника Азовских походов и многих сражений Северной войны, фельдмаршала, президента Военной коллегии. Не ранее 1693 – не позднее конца 1694. Холст, масло. ГРМ
Князь И. Б. Репнин (161.—1697) — стольник, потом ближний боярин и дворецкий царя Алексея Михайловича. Был воеводой в Могилеве, Полоцке, Новгороде, Смоленске и Тобольске. Занимал высокие государственные должности: был судьей (начальником) в нескольких приказах, центральных органах управления Московского государства — Владимирском, Ямском и Поместном, а также Сибирском и приказе Казанского дворца. Отец генерал-фельдмаршала Никиты Ивановича Репнина, одного из сподвижников Петра I. Подобный тип портретов, обычно называемый парсунами положил начало русской портретной живописи.
