Description
Deutsch: Iulia Maria Dan studierte an der Nationalen Universität für Musik in Bukarest und ist Preisträgerin verschiedener internationaler Wettbewerbe. Zuletzt erhielt sie den Sonderpreis als jüngste Finalistin beim Belvedere Wettbewerb 2011 in Wien. Sie übernahm Rollen wie Giulietta (I Capuleti e i Montecchi), Mademoiselle Silberklang (Der Schauspieldirektor) und Adina (Lʼelisir dʼamore). Ihr Debüt als Gilda (Rigoletto) erfolgte an der Rumänischen Nationaloper in Bukarest. Auch als Liedinterpretin konnte die junge Sopranistin bereits Erfahrungen sammeln. Von 2011 bis 2013 war sie Mitglied im Opernstudio, seit der Spielzeit 2013/14 ist sie Ensemblemitglied der Bayerischen Staatsoper. Partien hier 2013/14: Giannetta (L’elisir d’amore), Contessa di Ceprano (Rigoletto), Eule/Schäferin/Mädchen (L’Enfant et les sortilèges/Der Zwerg), Stimme der Ungeborenen/Dienerin (Die Frau ohne Schatten), Septette (Babylon), Frasquita (Carmen), Dienerin der Amelia (Simon Boccanegra), Klingsors Zaubermädchen (Parsifal), Dama di Lady Macbeth (Macbeth).
