A Bombardier Q-400 aircraft operated by Porter Airways gains height after taking off from Toronto's secondary commuter airport. This is the Billy Bishop Airport, also known as Toronto City airport. The airport is situated across the bay from Toronto city. A single undersea tunnel connects the airport with the mainland and there are frequent buses running up and down. This shot is taken from the observation deck of the CN Tower in Toronto. The previous pic shows the runway but the aircraft is rather small. Here the aircraft is almost at eye level but the background is very cluttered indeed. I thought this was the best of the lot. It was thrilling to see aircraft flying past at eye level from the CN Tower. Notes about the CN Tower itself appear in previous and in subsequent captions.
