DescriptionIs there a skate repairman in the house.jpg |
Abbey Roadkill has a hardware problem at the Aug 27, 2011, roller derby game between Cherry Bombs and Rhinestone Cowgirls in Austin, Texas. The shaft was damaged so she could not just replace the wheel. She eventually got another pair of skates to get back in the game. Her team (Rhinestone Cowgirls) won this hard fought game in overtime. This is the group that started the modern resurgence in Roller Derby in 2002. They use a banked track. More info at their web site: TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls More of my pictures of this game at TXRD Flickr site. Technical notes: I mainly put this picture in because photos of pretty girls always bring more traffic to my site. |
