Description
English: Is offered by the South Australian Government for the arrest of Henry Alfred Wood and Kate Lowry, alias Burnett (or for the arrest of the first name alone), who absconded from Adelaide, South Australia, and sailed for San Francisco early in June last (travelling as Mr. and Mrs. Woodforde.)

They are charged under Warrant with forging and uttering a cheque for the amount of $33,000 (which they are known to have with them in gold, English currency).
Description as follows:--
Wood--age about 50 years, heigh 5 feet 7 inches, stout, dark sandy hair, moustache and whiskers (shaved on chin) slovenly appearance, stutters very much.
Lowry--age about 28 years, heigh 5 feet 2 inches, fair complexion, light brown hair, inclined to red; grey eyes, stylish appearance, expert dressmaker, has false teeth.
