| Description |
English: Projeto de irrigação Majes Siguas no Perú, abastecido pela transposição de águas do Rio Colca para Majes, próxima a Arequipa, que até 1981 era deserto. Área urbana, 60.000 habitantes, em branco entre os lotes irrigados. Em tons de verde quando vegetados e de marrom, quando solo exposto, recém colhido ou preparado para plantio / Peru´s Majes Siguas irrigation project, supplied by Colca river water diversed to Majes, near Arequipa, wich up to 1981 was a desert. Urban area, with 60,000 people, in white between irrigated plots. Plots appear in green when vegetated and in brown, with harvested or ready to plant exposed soil.
