Russia, Irkutsk, statue = symbol of the city

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Russia, Irkutsk, statue = symbol of the city. The Babr is a one-of-a-kind heraldic creature, used only in Siberia. Although the name apparently alludes to beaver, it is a loanword from Persia meaning big cat, and is nowadays understood as the en:Siberian tiger
Русский: Иркутск, на стрелке Седова - Третьего Июля. Полумифический бабр (амурский тигр) - символ города.
