Description
English: Photograph of the underside of two valves of the marine mollusc Iphigenia brasiliensis (Lamarck, 1818)[1]; collected in Icapuí, Ceará, Brazil. This is an edible species and lives between south half of Florida, United States, to brazilian coast, in shallow water. In english the name is giant false donax. In Brazil it is called maçunim or tarioba. Photograph with edited size and brightness.
