Summary[edit]

Description Invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma, lepedic growth pattern.Diffuse adenocarcinoma simulating the appearance of lobar pneumonia. This pattern is usually the result of aerogenous spread of tumor. Microscopic examination disclosed a lepidic growth pattern of tumor cells with the appearance of what was formerly called bronchioloalveolar carcinoma.
