Summary[edit]

Description
English: Here is shown the conversion of the trans-rotamer to cis-rotamer, which undergoes intramolecular cyclization, losing enzyme-inhibiting activity. This problem occurred during the development of DPP-4 inhibitors vildagliptin and saxagliptin. Created with ChemDoodle 7.0.2 and Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.
