Description
English: The former Guild Theatre, at 829 SW 9th Avenue in downtown Portland, Oregon, in March 2018 – shortly after restoration of its marquee but with work to convert the interior for retail use still more than a year away from completion. The theater was completed and opened in 1927 and closed in 2006. After sitting vacant for several years, the building was converted in 2018–2019 for retail use, and a bookstore opened there in August 2019.
