Summary[edit]

Description
English: Halftone, Divided back, Agra Series III, 13.95 x 8.85 cm. [Original caption] Interior of Taj, Agra. One of the most graceful and most impressive sepulchres in the world. Marble walls, inlaid with precious stones; wreaths and scrolls in exquisite design as beautiful in colour; a dome of white marble 80 feet above the pavement, and here enclosed in a superb trellis-work screen are the tombs of the Emperor Shah Jehan and his beautiful wife.
