Summary[edit]

Description
English: "For making the Easter hares, goose eggs are better than hens' eggs. If the eggs are to be eaten; if the hare is to be used an <sic> a souvenir. blow the egg.

The cut shows the hare completed. From little tufts of cotton make the ear by rolling and pinching them in shape. Two more tufts make the forefeet. Fasten ears and feet to shell as shown in cut. With pen and ink draw the face. Two of these little animals placed upon a plate covered with parsley are very attractive. If the eggs are hard-boiled, they can be placed upon individual bread and butter plates upon a lettuce leaf, cut open and eaten as a salad with mayonnaise dressing."
