English: Unit used to adminster general anesthesia. The anesthesiologist put his thumbs in the rings, used to hold both the mask and the patient's jaw. The anesthesia was gradually increased. The device gave a good enough general anesthesia, but the patient was prone to suffocation or vomitting, either during the adminstration of the anasthetic, or after they woke up. |
