A型インフルエンザウイルスの構造
(左)インフルエンザウイルス。直径80〜120nmの、エンベロープを持つマイナス鎖ssRNAウイルス。
(中)粒子断面の拡大図。エンベロープの表面にはヘマグルチニン(HA)とノイラミニダーゼ(NA)の二種類の代表的なスパイクを持っている。またM1、M2蛋白と呼ばれるマトリクス蛋白があり、M1はエンベロープを裏打ちするように、M2はエンベロープ上にイオンチャネルを形成して、それぞれ存在している。エンベロープの内部には8本の分節に分かれたゲノムがヌクレオカプシドとして存在している。
(右)ヌクレオカプシドの拡大図。それぞれのウイルス核酸はNP(核タンパク質)と呼ばれるカプソマーに巻き付いているためヌクレオカプシドはらせん対称性を持つ。それぞれのヌクレオカプシドにはRNA依存RNAポリメラーゼ複合体が結合する。
