Summary[edit]
DescriptionInfinite Canvas trails.PNG |
English: In the late 1990s and early 2000s, cartoonist Scott McCloud suggested that "Trails" may be the future of webcomics. Because of the medium's infinite canvas, webcomics allow unusual mapping of a page compared to traditional comics. A logical conclusion would be to use linking lines between panels, so that the space between panels could be used for pacing or alternative graphics.
McCloud went in more detail in his 2000 comic blog I Can't Stop Thinking, more specifically in "Follow that Trail!". |
